Fossil Inc. is a designer & maunufacturer of clothing &
accessories. Much of this is represented by jewellery and
watches.
The name Fossil was the nickname that the
Kartsotis brothers, Tom & Kosta had for their grandfather. Tom
Kartsotis is the Chairman off the board and his brother Kosta is
President & CEO. Tom & Kosta hold a total of 30% of
Fossil stock. Fossil was founded in 1984 & is a public company.
Fossil 's success has led to companies coming to Fossil to create licenced watch brands.
The
licensed watch brands both manufactured & distributed by Fossil
include Burberry, DKNY, Emporio Armani, Columbia, Diesel, Frank Gehry,
Philippe Starck, Michael Korrs, Callaway Golf, Davis Cup and Adidas.
